About PHUQUE Cancer

We know cancer is serious. We’ve lived it, feared it, fought with it and gotten way too intimate with it. But you can’t be serious about cancer every damn minute.

Cancer changes a lot of things. It doesn’t get to take our sense of humor, too.

PHUQUE Cancer was created to bring humor, honesty, support and a little attitude to life with cancer. It’s a place for people with cancer, survivors, caregivers, family and friends to feel understood, laugh at the absurd parts and find words that actually help.

From our weekly PHUQUE Cancer FriYay — What Not to Say to Someone With Cancer series to helpful resources and merchandise, the goal is simple: make the cancer experience feel a little less isolating, a little more honest and a lot more human.

Cancer may be part of the story. It doesn’t get to be the whole story.
